The Department of Economics at the Aletheia University is the home to 11 faculty members, over 350 undergraduate majors and approximately 20 graduate students.
The mission of the department is to understand the decisions of businesses and consumers as well as the implications and causes of contemporary economic issues by developing a systematic and thorough understanding of precisely how economic systems operate.
Broadly speaking, our goal is to train students to think analytically about social issues, and as such provide a solid foundation for further study and careers in economics as well as for multiple other pursuits. We are proud of the success of our students after graduation.
Many of our undergraduate majors and Masters have gone on to careers in insurance, banking and government. Some of them are distinguished themselves in business and government positions.
